Christian is the Teaching Professional at Bonnie Doon Golf club and has been an advanced accredited coach of the PGA of Australia for 20+ years. Christian previously held the position of Head teaching professional at the prestigious The Lakes golf club in Sydney , Australia for 6 years. Christian has coached winners on 4 worldwide PGA tours, been a tour club fitter on the PGA’s Korn Ferry tour and LPGA tours as well as owned and operated one of Australia’s most successful and profitable golf stores within a National franchise.
Momentum golf was founded by Christian Small who has coached players who have won on 4 different PGA tours worldwide and been a PGA advanced coach for 20+ years. Christian has developed a layered based learning system that, accelerates your learning capacity by simplifying your thought process and clarifying your understanding. This allows you to increase your attention on awareness and move from thinking to doing into flowing.
This system was developed because Christian saw a disconnect with how everything else we learnt was taught and how people were learning golf. The layered based learning system teaches golfers how to move and stabilise directional based movements and then to become aware of these simple movements, allowing the brain to transfer them into the automatic zone through practice . Once these base movements are created we can then stack on top of these more finer detail and/or complicated movements depending on the students needs or requirements.
