Junior Golf Program at Bonnie Doon

We have an exciting and all encompassing Junior program at Bonnie Doon with 40% of the participation by girls !!

Children, depending on age and skill level can start in a number of ways including individual lessons or small organsied groups.

Prior to starting a term program 2 individual lesson must be had for Christian to assess and prepare the junior golfer for the Term Program environment.

We offer a School term program that runs for 8 weeks of each school term which goes for 1 hour and runs on Thursday afternoons as well as Saturday afternoons.

Junior Program (weekly)

Thursday afternoon at 4pm

Saturday at 1pm - Kids aged 4-7 years

Saturday at 2pm - Kids aged 6-9 years

Saturday at 3pm - Kids aged 8-11 years

Saturday at 4pm - Kids aged 10-14 years

Saturday at 5pm (in daylight saving time)

Cost for the 8 week program is $215 and upon Registration for your first term you will receive a Junior Program Golf shirt to show that you are part of the Bonnie Doon Team. A term trophy winner and a medal will be presented to the Champion Golfer for the term and the most improved junior in each class.

School Holiday programs

We will hold a 2-day junior golf camp in the January, April and October school holiday period. This 2-day camp will be available for up to 30 kids and coached by Dennise and Christian.

December Junior Tournament

In early December we will hold a Junior tournament accessible to all the kids that are in the Bonnie Doon Junior golf program

The tournament will comprise of 3 sections, a Beginner 3 hole and Intermediate 6 hole and advanced 9-hole event.

The Champion golfer for that year will be awarded to the winner of each section.
